I have more than admired his strength throughout his battle. I don't know how he held on so long but he did and he did it with attitude. I respected him so much for it. I felt pride when I heard him talk about it. He wasn't the kind to give up. Here's to you Patrick. I loved you since I was a little girl. I have such great memories. I loved when you danced with Chris Farley. I loved you in Dirty Dancing. I saw it probably 100 times. Maybe more.

I was so sad when I found out he had cancer and so sad today to find out that he had passed. I have some great memories of him too growing up and all the great movies he did.
I loved him too. He was indeed a class act all the way around. :)
just heard it...... he fought for a long time......but lost at the end...but still a great fighter......

I loved him in Ghost.I was in high school then.
He was one of my all-time favorites. So genuine. Didn't let Hollywood get the best of him or his marriage. That's a rarity.
This is a terrible loss, for his wife-first, then for his extended family and friends, then for Hollywood. He was a great actor and now cancer took his life. Well, life is short and the unexpected does happen!
He was a great man and put up a strong fight he will be missed
This is truly a sad news. The saddest news I've heard in months. I loved him at Ghost more than anything else he's been in.
