I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma just 2 weeks after learning I was pregnant with my fourth child. I was able to have chemotherapy while I was pregnant, deliver a healthy baby and eventually graduate from Nursing School. Class of December 2011! I am now 13 years in remission and my little girl Gabbi is 13 old. This blog tells our story.

Gabbi Update
She ate the Cheese Nips yesterday around 10:30....began puking around 11:15 and stopped around 1:30 p.m. After that things got better. She is doing well today. I was very upset yesterday. I was greeted by a lot of the ladies at the daycare with TONS of apologies today. I appreciated that really. Anyway here are a few pics of poor Gabbi after the reaction. She gets very lethargic while it's happening. It's a frightening experience. She felt horrible and kept laying her head by me but not wanting to sit down.
Notice the glazed look in her eyes. It's hard to tell but it's there. She fell asleep here and didn't throw up after that.
Poor baby girl! I hope this doesn't happen any more!
ReplyDeleteSo scary. My daughter gets the lethargy too with the vomiting - almost seemed like she was going to completely pass out. You feel so helpless.
ReplyDeleteI hope this doesn't happen again for her and you. xo
Poor sweet baby. I hate to see little ones hurting. Big hugs:)
ReplyDeleteI hope your baby will recover soon. Will be including her in my prayers. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteOh,I hope little Gabbi feels a lot better soon.

ReplyDeletehey......hope she is doing good now.......
ReplyDeleteI remember you said once Gabbi is bigger than the kids of her age.......I also knew a couple who had a baby boy who was also bigger than the kids of his age......He used to beat his classmates a lot in kindergarten.... :)
But he was really very intelligent.....
thought sharing it.....\,,,/
I feel so bad for her. I know she must have been feeling so bad. I am glad to it is starting to clear up a little for her.
